TONBRIDGE MODEL RAIL SHOW 2024

The massively popular Tonbridge Model Railway show returns for its 41st annual exhibition and it didn't disappoint. All the highlights from the show, including Norge, Bosun's Wharf, LLR, Ospringe (St Peter), Bear Creek and many more.

With three halls-worth of layouts and trade stands, the Tolworth Show was as busy as ever, with the usual queues out the door (and round the block), and with everyone eager to see what was on offer.

This year's show had an interesting selection of gauges, with an even spread of OO, N and OO9, and some more unusual offerings - EM gauge (it's the way forward apparently!) and P87.

Standout layouts for me were Mike Carter's Norge (correct pronunctiation: Norig-uh - not Norje as Grumpy Camera Man called it), Bear Creek by Jon Boot and Bosun's Wharf by Ian Corps and Bob Stevens. I managed to grab a few minutes with Jon and Mike in my show video.

Lots more to see - do have a watch (plus of course, Queuegate!)
